a lot of the message boards devoted to bashing me (amazing i have so many actually) for being a crap guitarist and a vein, self obsessed dorian grey black metal poseur, well here is what i say to that:

Acumen before being groovy
well aquaman has been out for awhile now, and before i rev up my Ash vs. Evil Dead upgrade, and my Army of Darkness medieval costume, i thought i'd grow my beard out and do one last casual aquaman shoot until i do the beard again.
I made most of the rings and jewelry myself, either casting/recasting the cheap knock offs of king baby stuff or just flat out sculpting it. really liked doing it and getting the coloring just right, and the makeup is fun to do also.
Things are getting Groovy
So i've been building a lot lately, doing a lot of video, not much 2d art. Finished up some Zelda props, finished a Lord Drakkon coin and morpher. Also finally built a real Evil Dead Chainsaw from a homelite xl. mostly modeled after Ash Vs. Evil Dead but a few bits similar to ED2 and AoD, few artistic choices but accurate in the ways i wanted it, altered in the ways i wanted it. Also built a Kandarian Dagger from the show and updated a harness, and currently building another necronomicon for a friend.

Art has been slow, but not dead!
So i have been slacking with the art because i have been focusing on career moves over the last 9 months. After the holidays i plan to start picking back up with more artwork and props and replicas and photography again.
