wands

These are some of the wands i made, out of both desire to make a costume, sheer boredom, and an effort to avoid studying. the black wand is the most recent that was made after i finished deathly hallows. the skull, book, vial bag and tie are just for the picture no sense in not adding some style.

ok here we go from left to right.

1st: Willow, 13 1/4 inches, inspiration for my deathly hallows pic. curved, but ultimately a straight shooter, lines up nice and is great for standard knife grip swishing and decent pen grip casting, no transitional ability though. undecided core

2nd: Ebony, 12 5/8 inches, steel rim, actually placed a hair clump in the core of the handle, represents veela hair. balanced right at the silver rim, great for pen grip casting or knife grip swishing, provides smooth transition between grips.

3rd: Oak, 13 1/4 inches, undecided core, not straight at all fairly goofy to handle. knife grip casting only.

4th: oak handle, ebony shaft, 12 1/4 inches, dragon heartstring core. perfect wand for a 1st year slytherin.

5th: Willow shaft w/ vine cut inlay, 10 1/2 inches, no handle. no core. unfinished. was a wand for my x girlfriend but never finished it.

those are the ones i still own that weren't sold, i did have a replica of lucious malfoy's wand made from a molded painted snake head, stick em green jewel eyes, and a painted tapered chopstick. sold for 45 bucks, cost about 3 bucks to make haha. thank goodness for lazy people.

im not overly attatched to any of these but i like the variety of the bunch.
