Spike from Cowboy Bebop color

ok so as promised in the scraps section here is the color version of the spike sketch. Its done in the same fashion as Jenner Troy, but i only used 2 color tones instead of 3 this time, a base and a shade. i also tried coloring the outline, but it didn't have that Hard hitting look that the solid black gives it, and it was a choice between 2d hard hitting, or a more 3d softer edge, and i dont like soft its girlie hehe. so man art has hard black thick edges BOOM! and thats how i role.

i feel shading this pic and jenner really helped me find a style i like for doing fan art from now on, and i feel good about finally finding one so quickly.

very basic display of the character, keeping the red and the wide latin like the desktop wallpaper i did, very good for the look.

i'd also like to note, if u can see, that eyes ARE two different colors, and his right eye (the darker one) is bigger to accentuate that its fake.

to be fair, i did not look again to see which of his eyes was darker, so i picked the right eye. i also didn't look to see if he was left or right handed back when i drew this, but im right handed so i went with it.

i didn't try to be super accurate, but as close as i could, the jacket opens the right way and the details are there, but its a little different from the anime, which is ok cuz its more to my liking.
