Padre Ruthven

Well this is a fun piece, 1 of 2, for the ol Padre here. I got bored the other day and wrote a story, or 4 pages of just generally who's in it and what the relationships were, and this is the cool character from it. i have yet to find an anime that does everything i want it to do, so i sorta just said fuck it and filled in the gaps from various places of stuff i liked. its got a route in the latest highlander film as far as setting, John Carpenter's Vampires as far as relates to the slayer teams and vampiric origins, sorta, and some general trigun/hellsing style character types to flesh out how the story gets told to the viewer/reader. i dont know if i'll ever actually do it but i'll probably write the story and see if any of my better artist friends care to crack at panels or anything.

but no more backstory in this post, the next one will just be the same pose but w/o the artsy stuff, just a colored line art so you can see what he looks like and maybe the XII: team zero logo behind him, sorta like what i did with spike and jenner, so enjoy.

originally got the idea for this kinda piece from a pic of Anderson in my fav's, go lookie its pretty sweet if you like hellsing stuff.

the sword is enscribed with the name Alexander, but that is not Padre's name if u were wondering. thats a fun fact for another time.
