Green Lantern Rings Modded

this is what i modified the rings to. i used black backing on the red lantern ring, i used Gold on the Orange (looks the best) and yellow rings, and silver backing on the rest. the indigo ring is depicted in blackest night ..4? as white backed but i like silver better.

the blackest night rings i did a silver logo and silver backing. i sliver backed my customized ring and did a black back of green and yellow for variation purposes.

the black is done with prismacolor markers cuz their pigment content is far superior to other markers, and the silver gold is fine tipped sharpie pressure markers (instead of felt tips) cuz again the pigment content is higher.

on an interesting side note the red ring was painted in such a way that the pieces in back are connected, so there isn't much difference between that and a real ring. i may just sculpy closed the gl ring, and repaint it and if the resutl is good i'll buy a new set of 8 and close them all up.

the orange lantern ring looks amazing w/ the gold backing i must say, the sinestro ring i may be partial to the black backing. and the blackest night ring i can't really say i like em both equally, though the silver logo is more like the comic. the blue lantern ring is a real pain cuz its so narrow so i jsut silvered the whole thing and blue prisma'd over the logo again.
